Salvation Poems

Winter
This poem captures the beauty of winter, even when we're not particularly fans of it. It shows us how we can see His sacrifice in everything.

Pandemic
A letter from God

Salvation
Cold hard truth of deception and death. Jesus beat the grave and death.

Is God dead?
Acts 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

You Can't Be Good Enough finalist in poetry contest
Many people are misled into believing that they can go to heaven by their good works, or by their spotless character. But as the Bible says, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Thankfully, God has given us the true remedy in Christ.

Spiritual Cords
Each of us have attachments, or cords, that are formed throughout our lives. This poem celebrates each of these, especially the cord between the Holy Spirit and us.

A New Creation in Christ
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.2 Cor 17. This is my favorite verse I think my testimony in the poem tells why.

Holding on to the moment that I came to Jesus
Reflecting upon how the disciples must have felt during and after their experience when Jesus was transfigured and comparing it to the first time I met Jesus

Held Up In Prayer
Our hearts break for those adults we love who deny Jesus as their Lord, even though as children they accepted Him as Savior. There may still be time for them to repent, we can hold them up in prayer with faith before the Lord.
