A special time comes 'round each May,
That we celebrate as Mother's Day.
We honor moms that we love so much,
With cards and gifts and flowers and such.
They're tokens in the smallest way,
To show what words could never say.
Mother's are worth more than all the gold,
That any room could ever hold.
And yet God gave me one for free,
On the day that I was born, you see.
