The Christian's Commission

We go church on Sunday morn
Christ our Savior, we seek to adorn
And beautiful music fills the air
Exhortations of praise we declare

God's love abides within these walls
We worship him quietly to seek his cause
God's love abides within our hearts
His abundant love we should seek to impart

God is not just a friend that we visit once a week
But the Master of all that we should daily seek
The Lord gives us guidance for our walk in life
He wants us to care for others in their struggles and strife

The Christian's commission is to lead others from despair
Always guiding souls to the sweet Savior's care
Followers are to spread the good news of God's saving grace
For He has enough love for the entire human race

As Jesus suffered and died to pay our debt
The saved must spread the Word so there is no regret
Because our life's work is to lead others to His love
So that one day we can all live in heaven above
