Just Believe

by Kathleen Higham

A heart that labors on
Yet a body peacefully still
Waiting for loved ones to come
Share a quiet moment until.

Until we meet again one day
I have lingered not in sorrow
And surely this is not good-bye
Hope carries me to tomorrow.

Tomorrow holds eternal life
In His arms I longed to go
To see the face of Jesus Christ
As I have always loved Him so.

So as your tears shall flow
God understands your grief
But remember this dear ones
I never wavered in my belief.

Belief that my heart beats on
When from this world I leave
Now my heart's one desire is
That my loved ones would believe.

Believe the soft breeze lifts me
Unto my Father I shall cleave
Feel the peace I left behind
Dear ones, I say: Just Believe.

Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
