God Sent His Son

God, in His great almighty love
Sent His Son Jesus from up above
To die for our sin on Calvary,
For lost sinners like you and me.

Jesus is His Son's holy name.
He knew no sin nor had no blame.
His precious blood was shed one day,
So our sins can be washed away.

Yes, Jesus died on a cruel cross.
For our sins, He suffered loss.
Hallelujah! He arose from the grave,
Victorious over death, mighty to save!
