God's Text Messages

I received a text message
From my Heavenly Father today,
As I read His Holy Word,
After I knelt down to pray.

He sends to me a message
From each of the texts I read.
I can get these messages often.
My life, these texts will lead.

The message of salvation,
To me, He made it very clear.
Jesus died for all sinners,
Shedding His blood so dear.

He gave to me a message
Of His great mercy and grace.
I accepted His salvation plan.
One day, I will see His face.

My friend, as you can see,
Text messaging really isn't new.
God has been doing it for ages.
His Word is holy, pure, and true!
