Spotless!

When my heart is humble,
and self is not in the way
that is when I know
it's time for me to pray.

When my heart is pure,
and my sins I've confessed
that is when I know
just how much I'm blessed.

When my heart is full,
of His mercy and His grace
that is when I know
His favor I shall embrace.

When my heart is chaste,
and of my shame I repent
that is when I know
my sins no longer can torment.

And when my heart is spotless,
cleansed from all the stains
that is when I know
in my life ~ my Savior reigns.
