Our Only Foundation

When we build a house,
The foundation must be strong.
It can be a real disaster
If that foundation is wrong.

We need to build our lives
On a firm foundation too.
We need Jesus for salvation
Before this life is through.

The foundation for salvation
Long ago was already laid.
Jesus shed His blood for us.
Our sin debt has been paid.

We need to trust Jesus Christ
And let Him forgive our sin.
He's the salvation foundation
That God has laid for all men.
