Two Someones

We're thinking today of two someones
that God joined as one long ago.
Two someones that we love so dearly,
but rarely have we let them know.

Ones who raised us through childhood;
Loved us through thick and through thin
were always beside us to comfort ...
when life would seem so dull and dim.

Two someones who are the best someones
that nobody else ever had. ...
Though rarely we outwardly show it...
We're thankful for Mother and Dad.

How thankful we are for the blessings
that God sent down to us in showers
when He made the best Dad and Mother
and picked out them both to be ours.
