Invisible Wings

by Pearl Leona Sturgis
https://www.facebook.com/pearlleona

I was blue and alone
with a heartache so real.
I was cold. I was numb...
till you taught me to feel.

You stepped into my life...
just in time, so it seems
and you lifted me up ...
on invisible wings

I don't know where you've gone.
We may never more meet,
but I want you to know,
now my heart feels the beat.

Though your wings, they are there;
and your halo you hide...
still the halo you wear
shines like gold in my eyes.

And my dark lonely world
comes to life once again.
You're my angel on earth
with invisible wings.
