A Prayer for Israel

We heard there's combat taking place,
with fear of terrorists.
Please keep the innocent from harm
and make this war desist.
Bring peace to Israel, dear Lord,
protect them from this war.
Prevent all deaths from militants,
and what they have in store.
Deploy an army from above—
Your angels with great force—
who will protect the Israelis
from this destructive course.
Stop all the armies not of You
and deal with all their crimes.
Let not another innocent
be injured at this time.
And by Your mighty power, Lord,
come let Your voice be heard.
May everyone on Earth take heed
and live by Your good Word.
