One Day in His Courts

I stand in awe before the Lord —
in silence I am still.
I listen with an open heart
in hopes to learn His Will.

My soul is wrapped in perfect peace —
God's mercy knows no bounds.
I'm bathed in His amazing grace —
His glory I have found.

My thirsty spirit is now quenched
by God's unending love.
My heart is wrapped in loving arms —
the arms of God above.

The good Lord brought me to this place
because He heard my prayer.
I'd asked for one day in His Courts —
that's why He brought me there.
