Listening so you may Hear

Listening to our fellow man
is not an easy thing to do;
because even if you're hearing,
no listening you may do.

Receiving what a person says
is a marvellous thing to do;
because even if your broken,
great healing you may do.

Taking time to listen
is a precious thing to do;
because even if you have no answers,
some uplifting you may do.

To stop and hear true meaning
is a gift in which you can excel;
because listening to someone's story,
we may hear from God, who listens well.
