Pray for Peace in Israel

Please pray for peace in Israel—
pure peace within its walls,
and may there be prosperity
for everyone—for all.

"The LORD will conquer your enemies
when they attack you.
They will attack you from one direction,
but they will scatter from you in seven!"
(Deuteronomy 28:7, NLT)

Horrific acts of violence
no human can endure—
attacks upon the innocent—
what else is there in store?

Almighty God, please put an end
to these abhorrent crimes—
dismantle missiles raining down
and bring about peacetime.

Come rescue Israel, dear Lord—
please tend to those in need.
Help Israel in desperate times—
restrain all evil deeds.
