Healing Deep

healing bruised by the rush I'm in
wounds opened, when my eyes leave Him
focused on the surface
never going deep,
seeking for the easy
making His grace cheap…

healing claimed when I surrender all
God's love there to catch me when I fall,
focused on His mercy
always going deep,
seeking for His blessings
even when I weep.

healing embraced through a thankful heart
worship my Saviour, setting Christ apart
focused on connection
exploring the deep,
seeking intimacy
all His favor keep.

Note: To enable God to heal our broken heart, we need to give Him all the pieces
