To Praise Him

The songs of praise now fill my life.
They quell the fear and all the strife.
I'm wrapped in love from head to toe.
My Lord, the Son, has beat the foe.

His work in me swells up in praise,
To glorify Him all my days.
I walk in truth that knows no bound.
I walk with Him; in Him, I'm found.

His word is now my daily light.
It clears the fog and grants new sight.
His joy's a day of ecstasy,
I find in Him that I'm now free

As days of praise now come at last,
I soon forget the dreadful past.
Engulfed in love from His great throne.
I'm now His heir, by Him, I'm known.

So praise, it comes, and comes for sure.
His love and blood became my cure.
My heart sings songs of ever praise!
And I shall praise Him all my days.
