In this world that my God has made, I am but a neophyte.
My age is scarce a touch of time, I barely know wrong from right.
I'm sure I've learned a thing or two, though I often choose the wrong,
And cause my life to rattle on - a badly out of tune song.
My God looked down and saw my plight; His Love sprang into action.
The Son would come to give His life; my sin He could not sanction.
With blood so pure He came to earth; His life He would give for me,
And buy me back from pending death; I would be forever free.
He did it all, no one but He, this great, mighty fearsome King.
His love and grace, these very keys, now enjoin my soul to sing!
