Flames of Change

scar's fear will enhance,
worth; left on life support
truth of His grace, distort.
flames of mercy's pledge
takes love to the edge,
worth; left in Holy hands
truth of His grace, expands.
flames of the Spirit's call
scar's grip begins to fall,
worth; whispered to our soul's
truth of His grace, controls.
Note: the phrase "takes love to the edge" is referring to the fact that love is not left in a safe place where it is easy to do, but it is taken to the very edge where a life is prepared to be given. A place where its full breadth, depth and beauty is experienced, lived and known!
