Wording of this Handout:
Mummy and Daddy insects.
Some insects care for their young.
Some of these clever insects are called lace bugs, assassin bugs, shield bugs, the tortoise beetle and the praying mantis.
The Brazilian tortoise beetle mother lets all her young hide underneath her when there is danger. She also guards her eggs. And when the young have to move along the branch she makes sure there are no stragglers. She leads them to good places to eat and stand guard on the stem to stop enemies from coming along.
God made all the insects in the world, and all of them show how clever God is.
