When God created birds He made one of them very big, with fluffy feathers and long, strong legs. He made the ostrich.

The ostrich is an amazing bird. Even though it is the largest bird in the world, it cannot fly! If it could fly it would be even more amazing, flapping its huge wings and beating across the sky like a helicopter.

Ostriches also lay the largest eggs in the world. Nobody has an eggcup big enough to hold one, and if someone made scrambled eggs from one it would feed a whole family.
