Save the whales.

How many animals are on the endangered species list? How many bugs and birds, beetles and worms? How many plants, trees, flowers and mosses? There must be thousands. And many plants and animals have become extinct - there are whole unique organisms dying out right now, even as you read this.

There are many people in the world, who are trying to save things. Save the Whale, save the Dolphin, save the Tuatara, save the Black Robin, save the Kakapo, save the.... it goes on and on.

But why should we bother to save these things when we as Christians know that one day God will restore the whole planet? It may be a short term good thing to do, to save animals and so on, but long term its really a waste of time. God can create whatever he wants, in a microsecond! So a few thousand extinctions is irrelevant.

But there is one creature on this planet which is by far the most important. It is so important it is on a level by itself, way above any plant or animal.
Mankind.

Christians may like to 'do their bit' for planet earth, but their main and most important job is to be good witnesses for Jesus - and when the opportunities come, to share the gospel with the lost.

A human saved, is a human saved for eternity.

Save our sky

Save all the slugs

Save everything

Save the ants

Jesus can save you!
