No Friends
Once I knew of an old woman who spent almost all her time, day and night, in her living room. She had one lady friend, who used to visit her about once every two weeks, a canary - and her grandson, who used to call in most days.
But she was always saying to her grandson that she wished she had more friends, and she grumbled to him many times a week.
He offered to take her out, to arrange for visitors, to find other people her age to contact her...but she turned down every offer of help. Then she grumbled that she wished she had more friends.
What do you think her problem was?
There is one really good way to find a friend - be one!
The Bible says, "A man (or woman) who has friends must show himself to be friendly."
