Salt and Light Image
In Matthew 5:13, Jesus says we are the salt of the earth, and what good are we if we lose our salt? Ephesians 5:8 says that once we were in darkness, but now we are children of light. We are the salt and light in this dark, flavorless world. We have so much to offer to others in need because of Jesus' work on the cross.
