Tomatoes. My mother used to keep a garden in the summertime when we lived in Illinois. We used to eat the tomatoes like apples, sprinkling salt on them along the way. When we moved to Florida, she said they had no flavor. When I got married and started my own garden I saw how sandy the soil is and how hard it is the grow food and then understood why the food is not as good here. The soil is very sand and there's there is so many more bugs. It takes a lot to go against nature here to grow good produce.
