Wisdom is to obey God's Word. Obeying God's Word build relationships that can go the distance. Without God's Word the very foundation can be faulty. Consider a marriage, if the commitment is built on feelings of love for each other, then what happens when "feelings" fade, the love is over with not much left to hold the relationship together. But if it is built on commitment to God and using the kind of love He asks us to give, then no matter what feelings we have, we can continue to love because we do it for God.
