BIRTHDAY WISHES TO HEAVEN
i WROTE THIS POEM FOR MY DAD. HE DIED OF A STROKE BUT HE WAS CHOPPING WOOD TWO DAYS BEFORE HE DIED. HIS BIRTHDAY IS AUGUST 21ST. HE DIED IN FEBRUARY 1981. I WROTE THE POEM ON HIS BIRTHDAY THAT SAME YEAR.

DADDY IS GONE
My Dad died in February of 81 but on Fathers Day that same year I stood in front of the Fathers Day cards and realized Daddy is gone. I went home and wrote this poem.
