Every year I watched him growing older.
coal black hair... time turned into gray.
Every year I leaned upon his shoulder,
Giving him a kiss for Fathers Day.
Many were the burdens he was bearing
and I know for some I get the blame.
Many are the memories we're now sharing
as we meet on Fathers Day again.
Everyday is Fathers Day in Heaven.
Here on earth we count them one by one
but everyday is Daddy's day in Heaven.
Daddy lives beyond life's setting sun.
