Humbled by your perfection,
Astounded by your love,
Lost in adoration,
By your mercy from above
No words can quite explain,
My deeds do not reflect,
The love that I should show you
Yet I rob you of respect;
O father how I beg thee
To cleanse me of my sin,
How I know I am indebted,
As your spirit dwells within;
Though every day I stumble,
You have not let me fall,
So I cry out Abba Father
You are my all in all;
As a new sun breaks each morning
And the birds begin to sing,
I shall say this prayer in earnest
I will give you everything.
As I know that thou art with me
What have I left to fear?
For life's battles rages over
The ones you love so dear;
As now we face our foe,
Without the fear of loss,
And we put on all thine armour,
Lord, thank you for the cross.
