Draw nigh !

Draw nigh to us dear father,
Your touch is all we need,
To see us through another day,
And follow thy great lead.

To look upon the promised land,
And have no fear of death,
By knowing that your with us,
Sure our hearts feel wholly blessed.

Without you, Lord, what are we?
Just matter, flesh and bone,
Though with your spirit in our souls,
We are no more alone.

And some day soon, we'll join you,
To glorify thy name,
And cry out thank you, Jesus!
For bearing all our shame.
