Seeking God's Strength

When I feel that I'm up to a task,
And I try to do the best that I can,
I sometimes meet with failure,
Because I did not seek God's plan.

I've learned to seek God's strength
In performing an easy or hard task.
He will help me and give me strength.
For His strength, I most humbly ask.

When faced with difficult decisions,
And when troubles and trials I face,
I ask God for strength and guidance,
And I ask for His mercy and grace.

I want to give God praise and glory
For leading and guiding my way.
I thank God for giving me strength
To carry me through each day.
