TRUST ME

Teach me, Lord, to trust You
In places I can’t see
The way that lies ahead
For You’ll take care of me.

No, I really understand
No more than others do,
But through trials that I’ve faced,
I’ve learned to lean on You.

Realizing there’s no way
That I can walk alone -
In the times I feel weak,
Your Spirit makes me strong.

I have no right to choose
The way that I will take.
Without You, I can’t make it -
My hope is in your grace.

Oft’ I hear you speaking -
“Just rest, and trust in Me.
Child, you can’t work it out,
But I will meet your need.

Lie back here in My arms
And watch My Spirit move.
Trust Me - you’ve been faithful -
Now I will fight for you.”
