Prostrate

I lay down prostrate at Your feet
Covered in a film of sin
Not believing for a moment
You will let this loser in
Knowing that the pain You went through
Doesn't stop my worldly way
Wouldn't blame You for desertion
Give up on this hopeless stray.

But as proved by past experience
You won't let this errant go
Through Your loving grace and mercy
I'm forgiven, that I know
So I start another chapter
New creation, clean again
May I prove Your trust and blessing
Isn't going to end in vain.
