Pentecost.

by mike bullock

At the feast of Pentecost
They were gathered in one place
Just like Trowbridge recently
The wind it blew apace
The Holy Spirit had arrived
Just like Jesus said
Funny languages were spoke
Foundations had been laid.

Visitors from different lands
Could understand their words
Speaking out the works of God
So everybody heard
It was causing quite a stir
The Jews said they were drunk
So Peter spoke the prophecy
Their accusations sunk.

This is happening today
In gatherings far and near
The Holy Spirit wants to come
In power to near and dear
We are vessels barely filled
A glimmer at the best
Open up your lives to Him
And He will do the rest.
