If We the People

If we the people,
of the USA
would humble ourselves
and pray.

Then God would,
forgive us our sin
and bless these states
we live in.

If we the people,
were to seek His face
and admit to Him
our sinful disgrace.

Then God would,
heal our land
and united - under Him
we could stand.

If we the people,
would pledge our trust
and see that His laws
are fair and just.

Then God would,
give us a new start
and restore to Him
our nation's heart.

If we the people,
of the USA
would only - be humble
and pray!

2 Chronicles 7:14

"If My people who are called by My name
will humble themselves, and pray and
seek My face, and turn from their
wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin and
heal their land."
