Life

The light gives way to darkness.
The darkness gives way to light.
The sun shines in the morning,
The moon shines at night.

As surely as man wakes in the morning,
He will rest again at the end of the day.
As surely as we were born into this world,
We will one day be taken away.

This life is but as a vapor vanishing over the sea.
This life is nothing compared to what one day will be.
