We thought of you with love today
but that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday
and the days before that too
We long to see your face once more
And we can hardly wait
Till we will see you once again
At Heaven's golden gate.
We don't know why you left us
We cannot understand
But we know you did not hesitate
To take the Father's hand
to be forever with Him
What a joy is yours today
