Bless for me, Lord, each new-born day,
you have my life in your hands.
Bless all the people who come my way,
from near or distant lands.
Bless for me, Lord, the light in my eyes,
hills and valleys and skies.
Help me to feel your warming embrace
succoured and blessed by your grace.
Bless for me, Lord, each step that I take,
striving for perfection,
and when the pathway begins to break
bless me with your protection.
