One Minute 'Til Midnight

That day is drawing near
When the trumpet shall sound
And all true believers
Will be Heaven bound.

At the midnight hour
Christ will split the eastern sky
And all those who are ready
Will bid this world good-bye.

All signs point to Jesus' soon return.
Bible scholars all say the time is right.
It won't be, can't be much longer
For it's one minute 'til midnight.

There are wars and rumors of wars.
Earthquakes in divers places,
And fear is gripping the hearts of many;
You can see it in their faces.

New diseases are abundant
And old ones are surfacing again.
Hurricanes are roaring in the seas
And destroying much of our land.

Technology is exploding.
Terrorists are killing in our land.
The writing is on the wall;
The time is nigh at hand.

It's one minute 'til midnight.
Are you ready to go?
If not, ask Jesus to save you,
To wash your sins as white as snow.

Then spread the word to others
So the whole, wide world will know.
It's one minute 'til midnight.
Get ready, get set, let's go!
