Don't Look Down

by clare davison

'Just keep walking and don't look down,'
Eyes full of Heaven,so far off the ground,
Trying to find hope in a world gone wrong,
Trying to find planks to walk upon,
Ropes stretched between mountains-sea boils below,
Eyes set on Jesus and forward I go.
The wind rocks the tight-rope I balance upon,
I tremble a little but it will not be long,
I'll trust my instructor his guidance is sound,
Commanding;'Walk towards me and don't look down.'
