Washed In The Blood Of The Lamb

by Margaret Cagle

No more am I a poor lost sinner,
For headed toward Heaven I am.
I accepted Jesus as my Savior.
I'm washed in the blood of the Lamb!

Praise God! My sins are forgiven.
A child of the glorious King, I am.
I can call on my Father in Jesus' name.
I'm washed in the blood of the Lamb!

Christ Jesus shed His precious blood
On a cruel cross on Mount Calvary.
He died for the sins of the world.
He died for you, and He died for me.

They crucified our dear Savior.
Praise God, He didn't stay dead!
On the third day, Christ Jesus arose.
He was resurrected just like He said.

If you accept Jesus as your Savior,
All your sins can be forgiven too,
For Christ Jesus died and arose.
He saved me, and He can save you.

Revelation 1:5, "And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood."
