Disciple Ship

The Disciple Ship
Came to port today,
The captain said,
"Come aboard! Come away!"

My heart it yearned
To step on board,
But then I heard
My other Lord,

"You cannot go,
There's too much to lose."
What did I do?
What did I choose?

I chose to follow
And climb the mast.
For the last is first,
And the first is last.
