Original Intention

God's original intention for man
Was to be fruitful, multiply and fill the land.
To rule and reign over his creation,
A worshipping people in every nation.

But when Adam and Eve ate the fruit,
We all were bound on another route;
We fell off of God's glorious wave,
And headed for a watery grave.

But thanks to God for the wonderful Cross
That provides the bridge to paradise lost,
And sets us on the heavenward stairs,
And of all He has promised we are now heirs.
