Anywhere

by Kathleen Higham

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, one could hide
That You won't seek and find
Even those weakened with foolish pride.

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, at all
That You simply might not come
And answer their heart breaking call.

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, on this earth
That Your hand won't reach out to touch
For You have moved us to our birth.

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, a place dark and cold
That Your feet shall not carry You
To the hardened heart grown bold.

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, Your love doesn't cherish
That Your perfect Word won't penetrate
You're not willing for any to perish!

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, a soul You would deny
That anytime, anyplace, anywhere, You can't go
Impossible! Impossible! For You can never lie.

Oh Lord, is there anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere, unreachable thru prayer
That Your mercy isn't absolutely there? Never!
You will come, anytime, anyplace, anywhere…

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
