Zachary Dillion Mace

by Laynie Lingle

I don't know why I miss you
On this bright and sunny day
I've not thought much about you
Since the day you flew away

I hope you know we loved you
And that we always will
And the hole you left inside us
Never truly will be filled

One month and five days ago
Was your tragic accident
But we know God took his angel home
And time with him he spent

We'll miss you till the very day
When in heaven we will meet
We'll leave this place of hate and hurt
Of lying and deceit

And then we too will meet with God
Upon his mighty throne
And I know you'll be there waiting
When Jesus takes us home
