O Christian, He can deliver you,
When you see there is nothing you can do.
Daniel was thrown into the lions' den
Because of the deeds of evil men.
God controlled the lions' appetites.
They did not even take tiny bites.
They told Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
"To the fiery furnace, you must go."
They said, "God is able to deliver us; He can!"
So they walked through the fire with the fourth Man.
They were not burned, not even a hair,
For they were in the fourth Man's care.
O child of God, when trouble doth appear,
Call on God; His angel is near.
