The chains of sin get tighter
Binding more each day
The devil is working hard
So you wont break away

He gives you a heavy load
Of sorrow and despair
The vehicle of sin he uses
To bring you to his lair

It is the lake of fire
The awful darkened pit

From the pain of it

There is One who is standing
With nailed scarred hands and feet
He bled, He died and rose again
And reigns from Glory seat

He can unloose the fetters
Break the awful chains
Bring comfort to your wounded heart
And take away your pains

His blood it washes the deepest sin
Until you are as white as snow
His arms opened up for you
Are the only place to go

Go seek Him while He is willing
Dont let Him call in vain
For He will surely save you
From the binding of the chain
