Opaque

the milky glass
a clouded veil
where light doth shine
beyond the pale

and mortal eye
shall nary see
the path of God
apart from Thee

faith that works
now blind in kind
need not see
Immortal mind

though smoke and tint
obscure Thy view
we shall not faint
in Hope of You
