The Art of Being Still

There is an art
to this being still
this waiting on God
takes a certain skill

It takes prayer
to know God’s plans
it takes strength
to stay in His hands

It takes faith
this quiet remaining
it takes believing
in God’s perfect timing

It takes trust
this knowing who God is
it takes action
to do what He says

There is an art
to this being still
but it’s the only way
to know God’s will!
