Fall Back ~

Soon I will fall back,
and reset my alarm
oh, I wish in my bed
I could just stay warm.

But, sixty more minutes,
are given to me each day
oh, how over them
I will need to pray.

I’m already feeling,
a little more than stressed
now three thousand-six hundred seconds
of my time, I’ll have to invest.

Another hour I don’t need,
just less things for me to do
so Lord I think this extra time . . .
I’ll just spend alone with You.

This is the time of year,
to reset our alarms . . .
and I think we should all fall back
and rest in Jesus’ arms!
