Is The Best Yet To Come?

We had a blessing at church.
We had a good time in the Lord.
We were on the mountain top,
Worshipping God in one accord.

The singing was very uplifting.
Blessings seemed to overflow.
The sermon was so touching.
Can it get better here below?

"The best is yet to come."
You've heard this phrase too,
But for born-again believers,
This phrase is certainly true.

"To be absent from the body
Is to be present with God."
Christians have this promise
While on this earth they trod.

For every born-again Christian,
Heaven's blessings surely await,
So their best is yet to come,
Yes, untold blessings so great!
